Hello, lovelies! Time for another rousing rendition of WWW Wednesday (and yes, I’m squeezing this one in right at the last second, but hey–it’s still Wednesday, so it counts, right?). WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On a World of Words. Every Wednesday, bloggers present our answers to the 3 W’s:

What am I currently reading?
I’m between books at the moment, so the only one I am actually in the process of reading right now is the audiobook for Legendborn by Tracy Deonn. I’m not super far in yet, but…University of North Carolina + King Arthur retelling + Black Girl Magic = a promising combination. Here’s hoping it ends up being a good one!
What did I recently finish reading?
Earlier today I finished the audiobook for Anxious People. I had no clue what to expect going into it (“something about a bank robber and hostages?” was what I knew about it), but ended up loving the whole thing! It was funny and insightful and dealt with mental health really well and had an unreliable narrator and unfolded the story in a non-chronological way and…it just worked so, so well. I also recently finished an eARC of This Golden Flame, which I posted about yesterday as part of a blog tour. (In case you missed it, that one is a YA fantasy with pirates, magic-robots, ancient Greece vibes, and great queer rep.) And last week I finished Muted by Tami Charles, which was a great YA contemporary novel-in-verse.
What do I think I’ll read next?
I’m going to be starting either Bloodsworn or All Systems Red tonight–I need to finish them both soon, one for a tour and the other for a buddy read. Very excited about both–one with phoenix horses, and the other with the famous Murderbot. I also will hopefully be starting Loveless in the next couple days!

Metaphors and Miscellanea 
I have heard a lot about Anxious People before as well, and I’m glad you enjoyed it as well! I ended up adding it to my wishlist after reading that you loved it.

Ahhhh yay that makes me happy! A lot of times I don’t end up loving popular books as much as most people do, but this one was so good. I’ll be posting a review in the next couple days for it 🙂

I want to read all the books you’ve finished reading but I’m especially keen to try This Golden Flame cos all the reviews I’ve been seeing for it are quality! It sounds great 😍 I’m hoping to binge read the Murderbot series next month and I can’t wait! Hope you enjoy all your reads, Kathryn!

Yeah, This Golden Flame was a solid one! It flies past pretty quickly (in a good way of course). And over in TBR and Beyond we’re doing a buddy read of the first Murderbot book this month, but I’m guessing I’ll be devouring the rest of them shortly thereafter!

Legendborn is on my list. I finished Bloodsworn last month and while it’s different from Ashlords, it’s just as compelling. Happy Reading!
